Ice Cream as Big as your Head!
First full day of fall.  Time for a fun group ride!  Today's ride was a mixtape of my two riding genres -- two local couples, plus half a dozen work friends from my PMC team.  Mix of young and "experienced", with one goal -- a fun afternoon on the road!

Today's ride started with an MBTA Commuter Rail trip to Ayer, followed by a 38 mile ride back to Boston.  Today's ride was explicitly "chill", and enjoyed the "early fall" hybrid of fresh picked apples from Drew Farm in Westford (sadly, the cider donuts were sold out :( ) and "ice cream as big as your head" from Kimball Farms in Carlisle.  From there, short ride to the Minuteman Rail Trail, which included a short detour to survey the Lexington Battle Green, site of the first casualties in the American Revolution.

Apples!  Ice cream!! History!  Great company!  Overall, an awesome day on the bike!  A route and company I would happily enjoy again!
